A little club help ?

Need some help

Ok, right now this club has a very U.S. theme, which is great and all, but I'd really like to make it welcoming for all countries. So, I'm wanting to revamp the whole thing to be nationality neutral...

There's actually a club--which I'll not name--that didn't want to affiliate with us because of the strong American theme around this club. Personally, I think that everyone in every country that puts on a uniform deserves support. They make sacrifices just as our American military does. They leave their family, friends, loved ones behind too.

What I need from all of you is suggestions. The only thing I could sort of think of that would work out is a silhouette of a soldier, similar to whats used in ~dA-Military. I also thought that hey.. maybe using camo would work? Then you have to take into consideration the array of camo patterns in the different uniforms around the world.

So yea, I really need you guys to help me out a bit here. I want to do a full over-haul on this place and make it deviantART friendly--meaning, not favoring one country over another. It seems to me to be the appropriate thing to do since deviantART isn't available only to America and we are "Military Deviants".

Personally, it sounds like a personal problem if they don't want to be associated with an "American" group.

Aside from that, I think it's great you want to make the military support more international. I think maybe... maybe a hand grenade for a background? I can't think of a military group that doesn't use them. I'll keep brainstorming.

I like the camo idea. You could make the pattern to avoid favoritism towards one country.

Grenade could work... I'd like to avoid war related stuff though. I'm fully aware of the realities of war, but I'm wanting this to be a sort of.. friendly environment for military members to share useful information with one another. You know, those things that their units should tell them, but sometimes neglect to.

My only concern with the camo is that every country uses a different pattern in their uniforms... but I'm starting to think that it'll be our best bet.

LOL, the things that the units don't tell their troops could take up a whole website. I think it's great to have a place to where we can share stories that most civilians wouldn't understand.

What you have done looks great, keep up the awesome work.

Ohhh yea.. the units LOVE leaving that important information out that could potentially cost them money.

It probably could fill an entire website, but I'll try to keep it all within this club so everyone has access to it. If there's ever anything you'd care to share, by all means send a note and I'll look over it.

I tried to keep it deviantART related... so I used dA colors to make the camo.

I wish in the journal I had a bit more variety in the pattern.. but it'll do for now.
