Collection Method
In keeping with the times I've decided to incorporate the collection method into the club. What I'll do is for every submission made by our members that work of art will be a featured favourite. For all deviations found within deviantART with a military premise I'll add to one of the three categories available in the Favourites:

Military-ART | Military-FOTO | Military-LIT

Of course all deviations submitted by our members will be moved into the appropriate categories as well as having the featured section reserved for you. The reason I decided to go ahead with this is to help prevent mis-fave's and send the commentary/support directly to your pages. I have all past deviations in Storage so they can quickly be retrieved if deemed necessary.

As for the promotional tid-bit I'd mentioned in the last journal, I'll see about getting a news article put together here shortly. I'm playing catch-up on everything lately. ;)

Please, give me your :twocents: I always want to know what others think about changes I make.

I'm not even of the age to be in the army, and no one in my family has been in the army.
But I support the troops 100% if there was anything in my power right now to help them, I'd give them all the help I could give.

i have to say im so glad to see a page like this- i was enlisted in the Army National Guard, and my fiance is as well, so i find it a nice little taste of art meets army- i hope more deviants find this!

i don't necessarily agree with everything the military's sent off to do, but it's not their fault. so i applaud you for making a group like this, 'cause i know a few people serving right now and they deserve a bit of appreciation.

No. Listen to this.

Chris Ryan - a trooper in the S.A.S (Special Air Service - the British Special Forces) was a member of an eight-man team doing an operation in the Gulf during the 1991 Gulf War. Two were killed, the rest were captured, and only Ryan escaped. He trekked across 100 miles of desert, avoiding Iraqi Helicopter, Tank and foot patrols, and after drinking water from a stream polluted with Uranium, he lost his ability to walk and had liver trouble. He still kept going, and eventually made it back to British lines.

This is why I respect the S.A.S so much. Chris Ryan is my hero!
